Sizing Options

Alpine Designs provides a number of different sizes adequate for any number of properties and use cases. We can also provide customized dimensions upon request. Models greater than 10’ x 12’ may require permitting and our smaller models are the most popular for this reason. Regardless of size, please be sure to check local zoning and HOA regulations before ordering. In order to facilitate the permitting process, we offer a set of structural engineering plans tailored to your configuration

Glazing - Use Cases

Alpine Designs uses real glass on all of our models, amplifying the presence and sophistication of your property addition. All of our models are available with no glazing, gazebo style, single pane tempered glass or double pane, argon insulated, tempered glass. Clients in cooler climates enjoy the added insulation provided by double pane glass, in particular when adding heating or cooling elements to create a comfortable environment for a variety of uses.

Entrance Layouts

Our greenhouse is available with a number of different door configurations, from a single side to up to 4 sides, feel free to indulge and position your door count and location to optimize your dream greenhouse. Each entry is comprised of 47” wide double doors adequate in width for moving large furniture items in and out. 

Architectural Grade Materials

Alpine Designs Conservatories & Greenhouses are crafted of structural steel & and real glass. Alpine Design’s steel is galvanized and powder coated to a color of your preference, providing excellent protection against the elements. These architectural grade materials provide top mechanical properties & outstanding corrosion & abrasion resistance, providing our customers with an optimal product designed & manufactured for a lifetime of 50 years or more. Due to the high material integrity of our greenhouses, they are adept at handling any snow or wind load specifications in any US location. 

Electrical and Ventilation

Each greenhouse model comes standard with a programmable exhaust fan, remote controlled skylights and four casement windows.  This configuration allows for adequate ventilation and climate control regardless of the season. 

Installation Process

Alpine Designs Greenhouses are shipped ready to install.

Due to the substantial materials utilized and their associated weight, we always recommend working with a local contractor to both take receipt of your greenhouse, when it is delivered, as well as assemble it for you.  Our greenhouses are incredibly heavy and require several men and sometimes equipment lifts to erect. Additionally, you will want to take time to consult your contractor regarding a foundation and installation plan.  You will want to select either a concrete slab foundation or a aggregate foundation and assure that both you and your contractor agree on the site plan, schedule and site access. 

Our greenhouses have been engineered for easy assembly and arrive with professional assembly instructions.  Additionally, we are always available as a resource to provide guidance to you or your contractor. 

Shipping

As soon as we confirm your greenhouse configuration and take payment, we begin our custom manufacturing process. We typically complete your model in 6 to 8 weeks and you should expect delivery within 8 to 10 weeks of ordering, sometimes sooner.  We will provide you with adequate updates regarding shipping timelines and expected arrival dates.  We always recommend, due to the weight of your greenhouse materials, that your contractor is involved in receiving the shipment, preferably and the site of the installation.
